Healing Services
At Raphah Ministries, we believe that the healing ministry, patterned after the the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, belongs to His Body: the Church. For this reason, we encourage and welcome believers to become Friends of Raphah Ministries. Friends of the Ministry help build, encourage and support the work through:
Prayer
Prayer is vital in this work. Without prayer nothing that the Ministry sets out to fulfill will be accomplished. Friends of the Ministry will receive regular information about the work at Beit Raphah.
Encouragement
This is another essential ingredient necessary for the effectiveness of this Ministry. Encouragement is necessary for both the Ministry and those keen on coming on the different activities, programmes and events.
Giving
Like all families and organizations, regular bills and staff salaries have to be paid. Sharing this load among many enables the Ministry and Leadership to focus all attention on the work God had called them to do.
For information please call, fax or e-mail Raphah Ministries.

Malaysia:
Disturbing Rise in Mental Health Disorders
- "According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2006, mental health problems among children and teenagers had escalated from 13% in 1996 to 20.3% in 2006 while similar problems among adults showed an increase from 10.6% to 11.2% in the same period.
- Psychiatric disorders and other forms of mental illness are tragic reminders of another side of life which must not be overlooed in our quest to become a fully industrialized nation.
- It is important that during difficult and challenging times like this, we should ensure the health and well-being of Malaysians and their families through initiatives to promote good mental health among Malaysians from the viewpoint of sound social development.
- As such, it is essential to mound a comprehensive community mental health programme involving the media to educate the community on how to promote good mental health and provide help to all those with psychiatric disorders or mental illness.
- The Health Ministry should also look into training more psychiatrists and psychologists to deal with mental disorders while non-government organizations shoul be given some grant to do more in promoting mental health." -Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (The Star, 23 September 2010)
- Pray that Raphah Ministries will play a key role in helping to "promote good mental health and provide help to all those with psychiatric disorders or mental illness." That through our teaching seminars as well as ministry to such in the power and grace of our Lord Jesus, many lives be healed and restored, set free in His Name and to His glory.

Healing Service #87 (PJ Centre: 8 Nov)
- Pray that this last healing service for the year will be especially powerful and impactful. May the Lord pour His fresh anointing upon the speaker for the evening, worship leader and keyboardist, officiant and all prayer ministers. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring His wounded children to Raphah, that they may receive His healing grace and mercy. Pray tht the spirit of compassion will move many hearts towards the hurting.
Thanksgiving and Celebration
(PJ Centre: 4 Dec; Ipoh Centre: 11 Dec)
- Preparations are being made to ensure that this year's Celebration and Thanksgiving at both Centres be nights to remember and cherish. May His face shine upon us to grant us very good weather, delicious food, and heartfelt appreciation to God for all our Raphah supporters.
Leadership Teams
- Pray for both Leadership Teams as they "wrap up" their duties for the year. Pray that they will be ever sensitive to the Holy Spirit and lead as He directs. May the fragrance and the aroma of Christ be carried to where ever they may go. May much joy and hope radiate out of their lives according to Matthew 5:16: "Let [their] light so shine before men that they will see their good works and glorify our Father in heaven.".
- Pray especially for the PJ Team, that they will "step up" to fulfill their full responsibilities in the coming year, as expected, providing clear direction and godly leadership for the work in the Klang Valley.

Embracing Your Identity and Destiny Seminar
(PJ Centre: 27 Nov)
- We ask the Holy Spirit to make this seminar ever so fresh, that those who hear His Words of challenge will receive a spiritual awakening in their hearts - to realize that God bestowed upon each a unique destiny, but it begins with an understanding of our God-given identity. May every ear be so attuned to His Spirit.
Prayer Support Group #86 (29 Nov)
- Every week some nearly 30 plus faithful prayer supporters meet at both Centres to pray for the work of Raphah Ministries. May these Monday night meetings be indeed "sweet hours of prayer" and that our Father in Heaven will grant us His everflowing blessings.
Ellel Ministries (Malaysia)
- Thank God for the renewing of ties with Ellel Ministries through the timely visit of Rev. Kenneth Thien of Ellel Ministries Malaysia last month. We continue to bless and pray for the growing work based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Pray that there will be a deepening and growing friendship that will be forged between the two ministries. May God also raise these ministries to be a blessing to our nation Malaysia and beyond.

“At the Cross an exchange took place, divinely ordained and predicted by God—very simple but very profound. All the evil due, by justice, to come to us came on Jesus, so that all the good due to Jesus, earned by His sinless obedience, might be made available to us.” – Derek Prince
