Prayer Support

At Raphah Ministries, we believe that the healing ministry, patterned after the the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, belongs to His Body: the Church. For this reason, we encourage and welcome believers to become Friends of Raphah Ministries. Friends of the Ministry help build, encourage and support the work through:

Prayer
Prayer is vital in this work. Without prayer nothing that the Ministry sets out to fulfill will be accomplished. Friends of the Ministry will receive regular information about the work at Beit Raphah.

Encouragement
This is another essential ingredient necessary for the effectiveness of this Ministry. Encouragement is necessary for both the Ministry and those keen on coming on the different activities, programmes and events.

Giving
Like all families and organizations, regular bills and staff salaries have to be paid. Sharing this load among many enables the Ministry and Leadership to focus all attention on the work God had called them to do.

For information please call, fax or e-mail Raphah Ministries.

Week 1: 1-5 September

Malaysia:
Families as Building Blocks of Society

  • Pray that every Christian family in the nation will wake up to the reality that the family institution is under satanic attack. Rise up in faith and ask the Lord to free families from every evil assignment of the enemy to steal, kill and destroy the family unit. Pray for the healing and reconciliation of all families: that mutual love and submission be restored at all levels of relationship.
  • Pray for strong Christian homes: for parents to guide and impart godly values to their children, raising a generation of responsible people who will love and serve God, family, society and nation. Pray for a visitation of God upon every family with a view towards reinstating His Lordship and authority in every home.

Forgiveness Seminar in Chinese
(PJ Centre: Sat, 4 Sep)

  • Pray that there will be a very good response from our Chinese brethren to this teaching. Uphold Dr. Florence Wang and her teaching team as they impart vital truths for the blessing and healing of God's children..

Strategy for the Chinese Work

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit will give wisdom to our current team of teachers and teacher-interns in raising up the level of awareness and interest in our ministry among the Chinese brethren in the Klang Valley. Pray for a move of the Holy Spirit to draw in the participants to our seminars..

Week 2:6-12 September

4-Day School (Ipoh Centre: Wed-Sat, 8-11 Sep)

  • Uphold the teaching team as they walk the participants through "The Practice of Prayer Counselling Ministry." May God energize and empower the teachers; at the same time imparting His boldness to every attendee that they may step out in the power of His anointing to apply their learning for the healing of those in need.

Ipoh Centre Leadership Planning Meeting
(Ipoh Centre: Sun, 12 Sep)

  • As the leaders gather this afternoon to draw up their programme for 2011, pray that the Holy Spirit will be present to guide the team in their thinking, sensing and feeling, etc. Pray for a strong unity and solidarity to prevail over this meeting.

Leadership Teams and Council Members

  • Pray that the links between the two Leadership Teams and the Raphah Council members will be strong, and that together - through the combined efforts of the three groups - the vision to build a credible, competent, cohesive and continuing ministry will be realized to His glory.

Week 3: 13-19 September

Healing Service #85
(PJ Centre: Mon, 13 Sep)

  • Call upon the Holy Spirit to meet the needs of all wounded hearts and hurting souls at this Service. Upohold the team members in their different roles, that with genuine hearts they will together touch hearts and rebuild lives. Pray for a strong move of the Holy Spirit to renew and refresh all present.

Combined Planning Meeting (Sun, 16 Sep)

  • As members of the PJ and Ipoh Leadership Teams gather to draw up the Master Calendar 2011 for the ministry, ask the Lord for a strong spirit of agreement among all present. Pray too that the sovereign will of God will be made manifest through the hearts and minds of all participants.

Called as Watchmen

  • Even as the ministry matures - having entered into its second 7-year cycle - may the Lord answer the cry for a deeper desire and hunger to grow in His Word, and a deeper understanding of the signs and times in which we are living. Pray that God will increase our authority to speak and teach on His behalf and that we will always have an audience with people who are hungry for His truths and are patient to listen.
  • Pray that Raphah Ministries will be used by God to point His children back to sound biblical doctrine and the way of holiness and righteousness.

Week 4: 20-26 September

Understanding the Dilemma of Homosexuality
Seminar (PJ Centre: Sat, 25 Sep)

  • Uphold Pastor Vincent and Boon Leong as they jointly bring this teaching to all participants; that the pure milk of His Word will be held up as a sharp sword that will cut and separate between that which is godly and evil, righteous and unrighteous. Also that what is said or seen to be an "alternative lifestyle" will be exposed as a perversion and a departure from God's standard of morality..

Residential Training Centre

  • Pray to seek God's mind regarding our desire to see God establish a Residential Training Centre for Raphah Ministries as a long term strategy and goal. Pray for a clear revelation from God as to how we are to move toward extending and growing Raphah Ministries as a blessing to the nation.

Finances

  • Continue to pray for the finances to come in, not only just enough to pay sundry bills, etc, but over and above and in abundance - that Raphah Ministries may be found in a place of blessedness and great generosity toward others (Genesis 12:2).
  • Pray that those who partner financially with the ministry will find this word coming true for them, that "My God will satisfy every need of theirs according to His riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

Week 5: 27-30 September

Prayer Support Meeting #84 (27 Sep)

  • Let there be a strong call by the Holy Spirit to His children to seek His face and to pray for the needs and concerns of Raphah Ministries.

Thoughts to Ponder Over

  • "The spirit of the age refers to the values and beliefs that each culture holds in vogue at a particular point or period in time. The danger of this hour is that the values and beliefs of the world-at-large -- the spirit of the age -- have made their way into our pulpits and pews." (Ps. K.B. Lim)
  • "He who remembers the Presence of God is less open to other thoughts, especially bad thoughts. As long as we believe God sees us, we are restrained from daring to sin before such a Witness and Judge. In two ways, the Presence of God is an antidote against sin: first, because God sees us and secondly, because we see God." (Ignatius Loyola)

“At the Cross an exchange took place, divinely ordained and predicted by God—very simple but very profound. All the evil due, by justice, to come to us came on Jesus, so that all the good due to Jesus, earned by His sinless obedience, might be made available to us.” – Derek Prince
